Timmy Time Characters
Timmy Time is a new animated TV show for pre-school children featuring an adorable little lamb named Timmy. Timmy Time is set in a bright and colourful nursery school and follows the exploits of little Timmy and all his friends as they are cared for by their nursery teachers, Harriet Heron and Osbourne Owl.

Timmy Time is made by Aardman Animations, famous for the likes of Morph, Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. Timmy the lamb is actually Shaun the Sheep’s little cousin. The Timmy Time characters are loveable young animals who communicate using their own animal language, this makes the show very engaging for younger viewers.
The Timmy Time characters get up to all sorts of fun adventures throughout the show. Timmy the Lamb says “meh” and spends most of his time getting into trouble but he does learn from his mistakes.
Yabba the Duck is one of Timmy’s best friends and he says, “quack quack”. Paxton the Pig is a tubby Timmy Time character, he always seems to be eating, Paxton says “oink”. Mittens the Cat says “mee-yew”, she is a very clean cat and hates getting her fur messed up. Ruffy the Dog is daft as a brush and always rushing around, Ruffy says “ruff ruff”. One of the quietest Timmy Time characters is Apricot the Hedgehog who says “hicoo”, Apricot is very shy. Stripey the Badger takes his time to do things, some say he is a bit lazy, Stripey says, “honk”. Another of Timmys friends who has a large appetite is Kid the Goat who says “maah”, he will eat anything in sight. Finlay the Fox gets excited easily and always has boundless energy, Finlay says, “yip yap”.
You may think that all the Timmy Time characters having a different language with no dialogue would make the episodes difficult to follow but it is quite the opposite. Timmy Time is a fantastic TV programme the captures the attention of younger viewers right from the start.
